Bi+ Writers Assn announces 2020 Finalists and Winners

My novel We Three: One and One and One Makes Three, featuring two female bisexual main characters was selected as a finalist for the 2020 Bisexual Book Awards in the erotic fiction category. Check here for all the winners and finalists.

I’m so happy!

We Three was my first book written with explicitly bisexual women characters and marketed, tagged, and labeled as such.

While open marriage, swinging and polyamory are not by any means the universal bisexual woman’s experience, it was a joy to write something so close to my own emotional experience.

I am hard at work on the sequel We Fit, pandemic and employment emotional and mental pandemonium and disruptions notwithstanding. LOL.

On a side note, since I’ve got you here, dear readers:

I am considering whether or not We Fit, since it is a contemporary-set story, should have any plot impact from COVID-19. After all, Eric is an airline pilot and Jess is a bartender. Also, Elena is still working out the kinks of her entrepreneurial tour focusing on creating swinger/ENM vacations. All of those things are areas hard hit by stay-at-home orders and social distancing realities. Also, the whole “move in with us” at the beginning could be complicated by (or made necessary by) the lockdown, particularly since the story is set in Miami, Florida.

Would you want to read about Eric, Elena and Jess’s relationship with that additional context? Let me know in the comments:

Should We Fit have the threesome experience impacts from these pandemic times or should the storyline ignore it?
